DeBarr Name Change Expenses

On December 19th, the City Council passed a resolution that approved the petition submitted by property owners on DeBarr Avenue to rename their street. Edwin DeBarr was a grand dragon of the Ku Klux Klan in Oklahoma during the height of its brutality. Having a street named after this man stands counter to our city's mission of being an inclusive community.
