So…. I’m making homemade face coverings/masks to try and help keep Motionhouse in Motion. Happy to send two for a £5 donation.
Performing Arts are very close to my heart, having a daughter who has danced since a young age and helping making costumes for a local dance school in Wigan.
As we all know the Performing Arts industry has been hit really hard due to Covide19. All work has been cancelled due to Theatres and Festivals being closed. So I’ve decided to try and help by using my sewing machine.
Motionhouse are an Internationally recognized company and registered charity (328693). Their dancers perform on scaffolding poles, blocks, giant slides and even alongside JCB Diggers! A lot of their outside performances are free for all to watch and they work with the disabled to try to make dance and their performances assessable to everyone.

All the masks will be made of three layers of material with a pocket to put an extra layer in, such as kitchen towel (recommended by the Government) They will be fully washable. They will be made of different types of material, all cotton some.
Bright, bold, colours and also some pastels. Please specify which material/print you would like when messaging to order. I will be updating more prints as I go. I have been working with lots of lighter colours at the moment but have a few darker if that is your choice.
If you would like a large order, please contact me first before ordering.
When you receive your mask please tie the ear loops to the required length and then pull the ear loop around until the knot is within the seam of the mask. Please hand wash before you wear your mask as some of the fabrics are stiff.

Please note:- The face coverings are being made by myself, in my spare time. I will send out orders on a weekly basis on a Saturday - for people who live in Wigan, I can drop off or make arrangements for collection - contact free :)
