Together we can make a real difference to a local young family who are doing it tougher than most.
They have had their world turned upside down.
Debra & Rob are a beautiful young family who have 2 daughters aged 16 & 9.
In 2015, Debra was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. This hit the family quite hard, but they all pulled together and stayed positive, hoping for the best.
Debra went through the hard yards of Chemotherapy, she then had surgery, followed by more Chemotherapy and finally radiation.
After over a year of treatment, all was finally looking up for the family and she was later in remission.
Debra & Rob now had a new lease on life, and decided to do up an old caravan so that they could travel around spending more precious time together as a family with their two daughters.
Only a few days ago, Debra starting getting headaches which were getting worse and worse, and started getting blurry vision. Knowing something wasn't right, Debra & Rob rushed to the hospital to find out more.
They were then stung with the terrible news that Debra's cancer was back, and this time much more agressive. It had spread to her brain & other parts of her body, and she was given only 12 months to live.
As you can understand Debra has been unable to work for the last couple of years, and Rob has also been having to take days off work to be with his wife and children, (hospital appointments, etc etc.)
We have started this Go Fund Me page so that we can help a young family spend as much precious time together as they can; without the stress of managing their bills and day to day expenses. Any donation big or small would be so greatly appreciated and mean so much to this beautiful family!
