My amazing friend, Deb, found a lump in her breast and it turned out to be a rare and aggressive cancer. She had surgery to remove the tumor in her breast Friday, July 7. The team at Gordon Hospital was able to remove the tumor in its entirety. During surgery, the doctors also tested surrounding lymph nodes to see if the cancer had spread, all of which came back negative. However, the battle will continue. Steps 2 and 3 are chemo and radiation which is very scary but necessary. Deb is a single mom with all of the financial burdens of life being solely on her shoulders. If you would like to help, ANY amount donated here will help her so much to pay for the ever growing medical expenses, food, bills, etc. Since she is not well enough to go back to work full time....money is super tight. Please take a moment and donate even $5. Cancer is such an ugly disease but I know that beauty comes from good people helping others. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your prayers and for taking the time to donate which will unload some of the stress and burden off Deb's amazing and loving soul.
