On January 16, 2021, we lost our dear angel. Deaurra Nealy, known to us as "Aurri," was born on January 3, 2013, to Tifarrah Alford and Robert Forbes (step-father) and Dearick Nealy (biological father). She was a bright and vibrant young girl that knew how to light up a room with her witty personality and charm. She was truly a one of a kind, special little girl who always showed and embraced everyone she knew. Aurri had a way of reminding us of her love with her words, her smile and her hugs.
Aurri was a 2nd grade, "A" honor student, at Twin Lakes Academy Elementary. Known by her teachers, classmates and others as fun, lighthearted and caring. She always stood out in her class and got along with all her peers in schools. Aurri had aspirations of becoming either a school principal or an actress.
Although testing negative on several occasions from the novel coronavirus, Aurri began to show signs of MIS-C, multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children, where different body parts can become inflamed and start to break down. She fought all the way to the end. Through it all, her bright light continued to show passed the pain. Heaven has gained an angel.
Unfortunately due to this untimely passing, we are asking family, friends and loved ones to help to contribute to the cost of the funeral expenses. Anything will be appreciated.
