Medical Expenses for Dear Madeline

On February 25, 2011, our world was turned upside-down when our youngest daughter, Madeline, was diagnosed with a rare cancer (a Wilm\'s tumor) on her left kidney. On February 28, 2011, Madeline endured a complicated surgery to remove the massive tumor (it was about the size of my fist), her left kidney, and some lymph nodes.  She\'s been recovering at the hospital but not without concern.  On March 11, 2011, the day she turned 8 months old, Madeline began several days of radiation therapy and 28 weeks of chemotherapy to eradicate the cancer from her body. We are facing a long, hard journey, but we feel blessed to be in the expert care of some of the world\'s best doctors.

Most if not all of you have asked what we need or offered to help with whatever need. Beth and I are just overwhelmed by this outpouring and want to thank each of you. To say we greatly appreciate this is a significant understatement.
