Dean Turner's Medical Expenses

On December 26, 2014, Charlie and Melissa Turner's 9 year old son Dean was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).  This type of leukemia is common in children and everyone seems very optimistic about the success of chemotherapy treatments. We know that God is ultimately the one who heals. Our prayer today is that we will trust Him to use doctors and medicine to heal Dean's body.  Charlie is a Pastor at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Brunswick, Georgia and Melissa is an entrepreneur.  They have 4 beautiful children: Dean, Millie, Stella, and Hal.  Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated.  Please take a moment to read and share.

Here is their story:  If you've seen Dean over the last few months, you may have noticed his pale (almost yellow) skin and that his eyes have been puffy. He hasn't been himself. When we got to my parent's house on Christmas day, everyone sort of freaked out about how sickly he looked. In an effort to hush my family up, Charlie and I took Dean to an Urgent Care center with what we thought was a sinus infection. After blood work and a few terrified looks from the Urgent Care doctors, we were admitted to the hospital for a blood transfusion. Tests, doctors, more tests, and x rays have determined that Dean has Leukemia. He will undergo a few more tests and have his first chemotherapy treatment on Monday. This whole thing feels like a blur. Thank you for praying!
