Adoption Dreams
We read stories about children hungry, abused, homeless, teenage pregnancies, octomom, and celebrities adopting children.
What we don't read about are the average working class women unable to conceive a child and yearning for a child of their own. We do not get to read how daunting and time consuming the paper work is to fill out. To dot the I's and cross the T's, if it's not done correctly or in the right format it is sent back only to start the process over. We don't get to read the cost involved. The savings that is spent, 401k's cashed out. All in the hope of making the one dream all of these women have to come true. The dream that for so many of us we take for granted. Having a child. For most it is an easy thing to become pregnant. Others just dream, wish, hope if only they could conceive once. Just once.
DeAnna is one of those women. She is the gal who does everything right. College, career, home owner. She has the love, patience and time to give a child. She does not have a criteria the baby has to meet. No special wishes on hair color, skin color. Just healthy, and a chance to make a family.
She has a dream, wish, prayer that she would like answered. DeAnna would like to be a Mom. She is in the process of filling out the paper work, attending the adoption meetings, and having a home inspection. Again all things we women who have babies the old fashion way never have, never go thru. Never give a second thought other then we are having a baby.
The cost is unreal. Let's all find it in our hearts to help DeAnna's dream become a reality. With all the children being removed from homes, unwanted pregancies, going to bed hungry. Let's give one child a wonderful loving home. Full of stability, happiness and most of all unconditional love.
Please donate whatever you can afford. If money is tight please say a prayer and keep her in your thoughts. Pray that she is matched up with the child she has always dreamed of raising and making her family complete.
