Deana and Frankie Tomsey's Family Support

Donation protected
Frankie Tomsey suffered a near-fatal heart attack on December 16 at Terramar Park in Parkland, Florida. He was with his daughter at soccer practice when he collapsed. Immediately a parent started CPR, until a BSO Deputy and the Coral Springs/Parkland Fire Department arrived and began working on him. Frankie was rushed to Northwest Hospital and is there still receiving treatment. Doctors credit his survival to the actions of the First Responders.

This week at the hospital they found a main artery in his heart was 95% blocked and he had a massive heart attack, also known as the Widow Maker. They put a stent in his heart and is now in critical care recovering. The doctor and nurses at the hospital are calling Frankie a living miracle. He is truly our Christmas Miracle! Frankie's doctor is monitoring him and trying to figure out the best plan from here. He will need continued medical care once he is  released from the hospital and will be unable to work for awhile while he recovers.

If you ask anyone to describe Frankie, they would say he is a hard worker who loves his family. He would help a friend out in a blink of an eye and give them the shirt off his back if someone needed it. Frankie loves his girls to no end. His wife Deana is a teacher at Riverglades Elementary in Parkland and his two beautiful daughters, that he would move mountains for, also attend there. His sister, Tracy Fortunado , also is a staff member at Riverglades Elementary and has not left Deana's side since Thursday along with his other sister, Lori Mendez. For Frankie to be laid in a hospital to recover has been hard for him, because he is a fighter and wants to get home to his girls. We are setting up this page to help with the upcoming medical bills and any expenses that he and his family will have to endure.

We just want to help provide her some peace of mind these next coming weeks as the doctors figure out his plan and he recovers. We want his expenses to be the least of their worries. If you can donate, literally anything helps. Thank you so much for reading Frankie and Deana's story and for all the continued prayers. ❤️

I will add updates as we receive them on his treatment and progress!
