Hi, my name is Troy in one of deans 6 kids, I’m raising funds for my dad’s funeral.

My dad was a loving, kind and caring man, he’d always want to be your mate and just chat your ear off no matter who you are, he loved to go biking with his kids at the weekends and just loved spending time with his kids in general they were his pride and joy.

Dean spent 11 days in AICU at QMC due to breathing difficulties due to his asthma and COPD, he spent his whole 11 days mostly sedated by medication but he was fighting to get himself better when he was woke by hospital staff and all he wanted while he was awake was his kids next to his bedside, before he was put back to sleep, he was took off all of his medication and ventilator on the 4th of August and he sadly passed away surrounded by his family.

Dean lived with his mum and looked after her and was a massive help for her if she ever needed anything he was the one that went to get it for her, he loved his mum dearly and loved looking after her, she was another one of his pride and joys.

Dean was an amazing father and he even treated his kids partners like his own kids, he was the best dad anybody could’ve asked for and he will be missed by many people.

The funds I’m raising with this are to put towards my dads funeral costs so I can give him the best send off possible because he deserves nothing less than the best.
