Help get John to surgery at UCLA

Donation protected
As many of you know, John had a brain tumor when he was 16 years old. He had surgery in 2008 to have it removed. About a month ago we found out that he now has another one that has grown in the same spot on his pituitary gland. We briefly tried a medication to try to shrink the tumor but the side effects of the medication were something we both decided weren't worth dealing with as he would have to take it for the rest of his life. So that leaves us with the option of doing surgery again. Since we are going into surgery for a second time now, it's going to be a higher risk surgery than the first time and we want to have the surgery done by the very best. So our research is taking us to UCLA, where they have the best pituitary clinic and the doctor has done thousands of Johns specific surgery. We will be taking a trip there in October for a consultation, and then another trip out for his surgery at a later date. We are asking for anyone to help in any way they can, wether that be flyer miles, hotel points, car rental hookups, donations, or prayers. Especially prayers. Thank you so much and to those who have already helped. We can't do this on our own and there is strength in numbers!
