BECOME A FRIEND OF DWIGHT DAVIS MEMORIAL TENNIS CENTER

The primary mission of the Dwight Davis Memorial Tennis Center, a 501 (C)3 non-profit organization, is to foster and encourage all forms of tennis participation; playing, watching and supporting; by all members of the St. Louis Community; youth, adult, senior, disabled and disadvantaged individuals; in order to create and maintain excellent sportsmanship, personal growth and competition. 

DDMTC is solely responsible for operating and maintaining the 19-court facility.  It does not receive any funding from the City of St. Louis or from Forest Park Forever, a separate non-profit dedicated to the maintenance and upgrading of the entire 1,293 acre Forest Park area. DDMTC relies on fundraising events, private contributions and donations as its source of funding. These contributions have made and will continue to make it possible to sustain the legacy of Dwight Davis.  

Many improvements are planned for 2015 and going forward at the center. Some of our significant planned improvements include the following:

·        Court maintenance (repairing and resealing the        
          courts)

·        Improve handicap accessibility

·        New railings

·        New lighting

·        Renovation and expansion of the clubhouse

·        Awnings 

·       General Landscape
