Get Cheryl Back On Her Feet!

Hi everyone!
Mid-August, at 5 months pregnant, Cheryl was taken to the emergency room in Boise, ID for severe back pain and numbness. Those of you who know Cheryl know the pain must have been seriously intense because our Cheryl has a very high tolerance of pain and rarely goes to the ER. After a series of scans and her condition getting worse she was flown to Pheonix, AZ to one of the top neurological institutes in the country. Within 24 hours she was getting prepped for neurospinal surgery. Despite her miraculous (the word the doctors have used) return from paraplegia to walking unassisted in just over two months, recovery has been very difficult with lots of severe pain issues and now a physical dependency on the narcotics she was prescribed. The current goal is to taper off of the narcotics and hopefully find another form of pain management, if it is even needed once she's off the meds. Baby Ava still appears unaffected, and she is due any day now.
The medical bills are looking to triple from what they've been if Ava and Cheryl need treatment into January and possbily beyond (which appears likely - chances are good Ava will be in the NICU for a while due to withdrawals from Cheryl's medication), so I'm starting this campaign to help Cheryl and Kevin. Every little bit helps! Cheryl and Kevin are two of the most wonderful people I know. They are kind, caring and will go out of their way to help anyone in need. When they are in need of anything they only ask for prayers that God will guide them through.
