Help Support New Playground at DCS

Dublin Consolidated School, located on Main Street in Dublin, NH currently has a playground that is at least 20 years old, possibly the oldest in the area. Besides being rusty and faded, it is in desperate need of updating in accordance with current safety standards.
At DCS, the playground is utilized for almost all community events. Kids play there not only during school hours, but after school, and even all summer. In addition, there are many children in town who attend other schools or are in town only for the summer, and we would like them to have a great place to play, too!
We are planning to invest in durable structures that fit well with the landscape at our school. We want to provide children with a new climbing structure, save our swings but move them to a safer location with proper setbacks, install two hill slides to connect our upper and lower play areas, and purchase a small independent spinner for kids to enjoy. We have researched green building, considered contours of our land, and thought about the fitness of our children in deciding which structures we would like to purchase.
Donations from local companies, groups, and individuals will help make this playground a reality for our local children. We have gotten extremely positive feedback about our idea of improving the playground, and we already have volunteer committments for labor and for ground cover. We are so grateful to anyone who is willing to donate any amount that would further enrich the time that our children spend outdoors at school.
