DCHoopStars Mentoring Program

DCHoopStars is a mentoring program for DC youth in grades 7-12. We use basketball as a catalyst to bring them together, give them something fun and positive to do, surround them with loving adult role models, and expose them to the game and everything surrounding it from playing, the business of the game, journalism, and other careers in basketball that they can strive to. Funding only allows us to service 20 youths for six months and your help will allow us to service more youths and for the entire year. Each child gets a basketball, tee shirts, personalized jersey, basketball cards, posters, and tickets to basketball games throughout DC. It takes about $500 to service one child for one year
