medical bills

Please help me with expenses.  My Son Jasper Small (age 26) was planning to move back to Indiana from Atlanta, GA on 07/31/2014.  On 07/29/2014, he fell from a 3rd story balcony and fractured 9 vertebrae, and is paralyzed from the waist down.  With the help of the Wabash College Alumni, Jasper was accepted at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana.  However, Jasper was between jobs, had no insurance, and since he was between states, it may take longer than typical to be accepted into assistance programs.  Thus, we will incur many out-of-pocket expenses when he is released from RHI on 09/10/2014.  The medical transport from Atlanta to Indianapolis was over $3,200.  Once released from RHI, he will require items such as a wheelchair, transfer equipment, catheter kits, medication, etc.  I will gladly accept and appreciate any donations to offset these expenses. - Thank you, Jane Small
