Max the Schip Needs Surgery!

Please help Max to get the surgery he needs.  It is a very expensive procedure.  

Max is a schipperke who lives in Massachusetts.  He had an unhappy run-in with a wooden planter and was diagnosed with a compound fracture in his leg.

Max's humans are making every effort to do the right thing--can the schipperke community help Max and his humans to provide Max with this surgery?
