Help for Hector

Hector arrived in the United States after fleeing from violence in his native country. There, he was violently targeted by gangs, the police, and local government. He was detained by ICE last year, and has been in detention ever since. We won withholding from removal (similar concept to asylum, but not exactly the same) for him, and expect that he will be released from ICE detention sometime this week. Hector has nothing--no clothing, no housing, no money, no phone. It will take months for his work authorization to be processed, so he will need some funds to live on during that period until he is able to secure his work permit and a job. He professes his gratitude for being able to remain alive in the United States every time we see him. Let's show him how Americans treat refugees: with open hearts and open arms!
