DC Trip to Stop Kavanaugh

We are travelling to DC, carrying with us the strength and voices of our friends, families, and communities to #CancelKavanaugh. Failure is not an option as a confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court would be a complete disaster for women's rights and for our country as a whole. We know not everyone can make the trip, and we know you're standing with us. We created this fundraiser to help alleviate some of the financial toll that this trip will take and we appreciate any contribution large or small.
Our core team is Fran Tatu, Angie Spencer, and Learner Limbach. We're planning to stick together to support each other through the week and since we have varying funding needs we decided to do a joint fundraiser. If we don't reach the goal those with greater need will be covered first. We will be staying with a friend in DC so costs once we're there will be relatively low. What we're asking for help with is airfare and food. The funding goal is set at an estimate of our combined cost and we'll adjust it up or down if anything changes. Its possible we will encounter additional significant costs along the way or even grow our team.
On Thursday October 4th we will join thousands of women and supporters of women from all over the country in a march in opposition to Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation to the Supreme Court. Other actions will follow. We plan to participate in Thursday and Friday actions and will see where things stand after that. We'll post updates here on this page and also on each of our facebook profiles.

"We’ve been taking action all September to keep Brett Kavanaugh off the Supreme Court because we know that if confirmed, he will not just send a message that sexual violence is rewarded with power; he will also roll back rights that women have worked for a generation to secure.
On Friday October 5, the full Senate is expected to vote on his confirmation. The day before they do, we're going to make sure they hear our demand to #CancelKavanaugh and #BelieveSurvivors."
