<div>The age limit for this event is 16-19, anyone under 18 will have to complete a parental/guardian consent form

</div>
<div>We encourage you to wear your swankiest prom attire and dress to your comfort level. We only ask that you do not wear clothing depicting offensive language.

<div>Following interviews conducted with DC students and DC GSA organizations, we identified a common request: more opportunities are needed for queer students to build safe, trusting relationships across DC schools. The goals of the event are to create a safe and joyous space for queer DC students, build relationships across schools, support student mental health and activate broader community engagement.

</div>
<div>Plans for the event were developed with guidance from BAGLY, a non-profit that has been coordinating pride prom in Boston for over 30 years.
