Don Tresca Vietnam Vet house Fire

To help my grandfather rebuild his life after a fire that happened right before Thanksgiving. Don Tresca has always made his life serving God and protecting our country and raising children that were not his. He has rasied children of marraiges that did not belong to him and grandchildren that were not blood but loved and treated them like they were and never asked for anything in return.  He was brought up in the catholic church and still attends each and every sunday. Since he was 18 he joined the Marines and was deployed to Vietnam. He spent years in the Military. He can still dig metal out of his legs from time to time from his tank being hit. Shorty after, he began his career in law enforcement. He was a sheriff deputy in Virginia and ended up in Califorina where he became one of CSP Corcoran's First Original SERT. Years of hard work and dedication to protecting our freedoms he was promoted to lieutenant. While raising his wifes 11 year old grandchild threats from the prison started getting out of control. His dogs were killed in his back yard and threats were made on his wifes life which resulting in him retiring, Don had to  give up his home and move to the south.  Leaving everything behind he was happy he still had his family and his Harley Davidson motercycle. Shortly after arriving to the south in 2001 Don took on the responisibly of raising yet another grandchild she was 3 weeks old when her mother decided that would be best. Not knowing what was to come.  Melody his wife, health starts to take a turn for the worst resulting in several surgurys. Don decieded to get a job. In 2010 Don had a motercycle accident that fractured his spin in several places   This Marine Purple Heart Vietnam veteran has been through all this he never looked to a man for help only to God. But now he needs help. A week before Thanksgiving 2016 his house went up in flames nothing can be saved. He is devastated he lost everything but mostly photos of his dad. Memories. Not even a week after the fire my grandfather ( Don Tresca) received a call that his brother ( Jerry Tresca) has less than 3 months to live. So I am making this account to try and help him with expenses to go see his brother one last time before he passes. And if possible to help him rebuild his life. Thank You!
