A sudden hurdle and a humble request for supportDear :
Folks, just as my second 30th birthday, life decided to throw me a major curveball.
On the Saturday before Mother’s Day, I was driving home after a long day of masonry work on a construction sitw, for a reason, my heart completely stopped.
My car veered off the road and crashed directly into an open road construction pit. The impact completely totaled my vehicle. When emergency responders arrived, I was not breathing and had no pulse for five minutes.
Thanks to immediate CPR, they brought me back. I was rushed to the emergency department at Aurora St. Luke's.I am incredibly grateful to be alive, but the physical toll is heavy. The crash fractured several of my ribs, broke a front tooth, and severely re-injured my shoulder, which I had only recently repaired.I am not looking to profit from this terrible situation.
I am simply trying to survive the financial aftermath. Because I am a contractor, missing work means zero income while my bills accumulate. I am facing immediate, urgent expenses for:Covering my lost wages during recoveryA down payment for a replacement vehicle to get back to workOut-of-pocket medical and dental repair costsAs you know, my bank account is not overflowing. Any financial contribution you can offer, no matter how small, will directly help me rebuild and get back on my feet.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity, your prayers, and for keeping me in your thoughts. With love and gratitude, I'm having a friend administer the account, to help me make sure all the money goes to the right places.
Daniel
