To anyone who happens upon this page, I am in dire need. On August 18th, 2014, a dentist appointment changed my life drastically. I was told, through no fault of my own, that my teeth were rotting away from the inside out. It's a genetic disease that was not caught in my youth, and now I have to pay the price.
Literally.
The cost to completely remove all sans my six bottom teeth and fit me with dentures, a procedure that will save my life and smile, is $10,000. This is with my dental insurance, and this is a price that I simply cannot afford. I have already missed a lot of work due to the pain my mouth has caused me, and if I miss anymore I am afraid I will lose my home.
I'm the main provider for my little family, who consist of an amazing fiance, our two fuzzy children, and a friend of ours who we have been helping through some dark times of their own. Without me to bring in my income, all of them will be homeless as well, and that's something that I cannot afford. The sooner this surgery happens, the faster I can get back to work and put my life back in order.
I've never been one to ask for donations out of pride, out of finding a way out for myself. Too much is at risk at this time. If this surgery doesn't happen, the disease will claim the bones in my jaw, and work their way upwards to my skull, not to mention the cancer risk I'm currently at. So I ask, with a great need, to help me get back to the person I need to be.
