<div>Mit „Brücken bauen“ starten wir eine Initiative, um Druck auf die Regierung auszuüben, damit diese eine Reform der Richtlinien zur Verurteilung von Vergewaltigungen durchführt. Auch die Richtlinien zum Umgang mit Situationen, in denen Vergewaltigungen oder Vergewaltigungsvorwürfe heruntergespielt oder als weniger schwerwiegend dargestellt werden, sollen verschärft werden.

<div>Ziele:
</div>
<div>• Sammeln von 100.000 Unterschriften zur Unterstützung einer Initiative für eine Strafrechtsreform im Umgang mit und der Verurteilung von Vergewaltigern.
</div>
<div>• Straffung und Entstigmatisierung der behördlichen Bearbeitung von Vergewaltigungsvorwürfen durch Opfer.
</div>
<div>• Aufzeigen der erfahrenen Demütigung, Erniedrigung, Scham und Hürden, mit denen Ankläger konfrontiert sind
</div>
<div>• Besuche in Schulen, Jugendzentren und möglicherweise sogar Waisenhäusern, um das Bewusstsein für die Schwere des lebenslangen Traumas der Opfer zu schärfen
</div>
<div>• Gründung von Selbsthilfegruppen für betroffene Familienangehörige
</div>
<div>• Den Bund dazu ermutigen, Informationen für Selbsthilfegruppen für Opfer und ihre Familienangehörigen bereitzustellen
</div>
<div>• Einrichtung einer „Frühwarnungs-Hotline”, um Alarm zu schlagen, wenn Verhaltensweisen auftreten oder ausgeübt werden, die herabwürdigend sind oder die Notlage der Opfer, oder die Schwere des Verbrechens der Vergewaltigung herunterspielen

<div>• Witze, die in der Öffentlichkeit/in offiziellen Situationen gemacht werden, sollten genauso ernst genommen werden wie rassistische, antisemitische, antiislamische oder homophobe Witze (Hassrede)

<div>Endziel:
</div>
<div>Beseitigung jeglicher Vermutungen, Zweifel oder Ängste der Opfer, dass ihre Straftat nicht ernst genommen wird, und Schürung der Angst potenzieller Täter, dass ihre Straftaten mit strengen und schnellen Strafen geahndet werden können (durch eine Reform der Strafjustiz). Gleichzeitig sollen den bereits Betroffenen Unterstützung, Verständnis und Gemeinschaft geboten werden. Schaffung einer Plattform, mit der sie einen Wandel bewirken können, damit sie das Gefühl haben, dass ihr Leiden nicht umsonst war.

<div>Die erste Brücke, die gebaut werden muss, ist die zwischen den Opfern und dem Staatsapparat, einschließlich aller öffentlichen Institutionen, die den Opfern Vertrauen vermitteln und ihnen die Gewissheit geben sollen, dass ihr Recht auf Gerechtigkeit geschützt wird.

<div>Was mit den Spenden passiert:
</div>

<li>Kooperation mit Schulen - Das Bewusstsein für Auswirkungen von Verharmlosung von schweren sexuellen Straftaten auf Opfer soll vor allem bei (aber nicht nur) jungen Männern gestärkt werden. Opfer werden dadurch entmenschlicht, und sexueller Gewalt wird dadurch ein Klima der Akzeptanz gegeben.

<li>Arbeit mit Jugendzentren - Sport als Tool, um mit jungen Männern in Kontakt zu kommen, die vielleicht nicht mehr in die Schule gehen.
</li>
<li>Einrichtung von Vernetzungsgruppen für Opfer und Familienangehörige.
</li>
<li>Organisation von öffentlichen Kundgebungen zur Unterstützung unserer Mission und um das öffentliche und soziale Bewusstsein zu stärken.
</li>
<li>Deckung der Lebenskosten der Organisatoren, da wir 100% unserer Zeit in diese Angelegenheit investieren, um so effektiv wie möglich handeln zu können, und eine soziale und politische Änderung bewirken zu können.
</li>
<li>Überschüssige Spenden werden entweder für zukünftige Projekte beiseite gelegt, oder an Organisationen mit ähnlichen Zielsetzungen gespendet.

<div>With "building bridges" we are starting an initiative to put full-time pressure on the government to install rape conviction guideline reform and to sharpen guidelines on how to handle situations involving the minimization or seriousness of rape or a rape allegation. 
</div>
<div>Clearly defining the proper punishment of anyone; including administration, student or parent that engages in degrading or intentional hurt or provocation of the victim/accuser.
</div>
<div>Help to start support groups for the fathers, mothers, family members and the victims themselves of such crimes.
</div>
<div>Try to bridge the gap between the muslim and Judeo/Christian/secular community.

<div>Goals:
</div>
<div>•	Collect 100.000 signatures to support an initiative for criminal reform in the handling and sentencing of rapists
</div>
<div>•	Streamlining and destigmatizing the processing of a victim’s rape allegation
</div>
<div>•	Highlight the humiliation, degradation, shame and the onslaught of problems and hurdles that accusers face
</div>
<div>•	Go into schools, youth centers and possibly even orphanages to raise awareness about the severities and lifelong trauma faced by victims
</div>
<div>•	Starting support groups for family members who have been affected (to be provided by the state to victims and their families – none were provided to us)
</div>
<div>•	Encouraging the country to provide information for support groups for victims and their family members
</div>
<div>•	Start a “Frühwarnungs-Hotline” to sound an alarm for the onset or execution of behavior that is derogatory or minimize the plight of victims or seriousness of the crime of rape
</div>
<div>•	Jokes made in public/official settings should be taken just as seriously as racist, antisemitic, antiislamic, homophobic jokes (Hate speech)

<div>Endgoal:
</div>
<div>Eliminate any assumption, doubt or fear from victims that their crime won’t be taken seriously and to raise fear among potential aggressors that their crimes will be met with severe and swift punishment (through criminal justice reform). While also offering support, understanding and community to those already affected. Create a platform for them to enact some level of change so that they might feel their suffering was not in vain.

<div>The first bridge to be built is between victims and the state apparatus including all public institutions that ensures and instills trust for victims that they will be protected in their right to seek justice. 
</div>

<div>Fund allocation:
</div>
<ul>
<li>Cooperation with schools to increase awareness with (but not only) young men on how making light of victims of such crimes further dehumanizes them and perpetuates sexual violence.
</li>
<li>Work with youth centers using sport as a tool to connect with young men who may not be enrolled in school
</li>
<li>Start support groups for victims and their family members
</li>
<li>Public rallies to increase support for our movement and to increase public and social awareness.
</li>
<li>Cover basic living expenses as we are commiting 100% of our time to putting as much pressure as possible - both political and social - to achieve the goals of our mission statement.
</li>
<li>Surplus funds will either be saved for future projects or donated to organizations with a similar mission.
</li>
