Help Us Adopt a Special Little Boy

We are very excited about being chosen as prospective parents for a very special little boy in the foster care system. While most of our adoption needs are covered locally by the South Carolina Foster Care System, the child we were chosen for is currently living in Washington state.
We need your help to be able to afford to go meet our future child! We need to pay for two round trip plane tickets, one for my husband and one for myself. Moreover, because this little boy is a special needs child, we cannot get a hotel while we are there. We will have to rent an Airbnb to make it look like we live there. It is less stressful for the child.
This little boy has been rejected by everyone his entire life. He has been in more foster homes than you can count on your hands and more schools than anyone can imagine. The plan is to present us as potential caseworkers that live in the area so that he does not feel he could be rejected. This will allow him to react more openly with us so that we can learn his day to day life without him trying to push us away.
This travel plan is for the best interest of the child. It will cost us $1,000 in boarding, car, and living expenses. It will also cost us about $900 in plane tickets. The sooner we can get funded, the sooner we can purchase the tickets, car, and housing. The longer it takes us to obtain the funds the more expensive things will get.
We are hoping to visit him around November 3rd through November 10th so that the costs are not elevated for the holidays and so that he is not already stressed from the holiday season.
We are not wealthy people but we are rich in love and have worked hard on putting supports in place to help this little boy grow up in a loving home. It has taken the foster care system 4 years to find a couple like us who can provide for this special boy - the environment he needs to survive and become a productive member of society.
We have from the start placed this adoption process in God's hands and will continue to do so. It is our firm belief that if the Lord wants us to be able to afford to travel to Washington state to meet this boy for adoption, He will provide the means to make that happen. We give the glory to God in all this and thank you for your prayers and support.
