Dax Road to Recovery

Hi, my name is Melissa and I’m fundraising on behalf of Dax Richards. Daxton is the sweetest little 6 year old you ever meet. He was born with Phelan McDermid Syndrome. This a very rare disorder that effects muscle tone, speech, and much more. He’s proven over the years that he can push through the limits they have given him with PMS.

On Thursday May 19th Dax took a fall. As a result of this fall he has a fractured skull and several brain bleeds. He was transported from Des Moines to Mayo in Rochester, MN via helicopter.

Kendra and Andrew will have added expenses as they make the 3hr drive back and forth to be with Quinton and Reese back home as well. We all know gas prices are increasing quickly. They’ll have added expenses for their personal meals while with him at Mayo, loss of income from work, and medical expenses.

Let’s try to help them with that burden, so they can focus on getting Dax on the road to recovery.
