This account is set up for the benefit of Dawn Wilmsen (medical and related expenses) on behalf of her children, Olivia, Taylor, and Scarlett.
Dawn received a liver transplant on January 31, 2018, and she is recovering slowly but surely. She also is recovering from knee surgery which was due to contracting E.Coli. Additionally, she suffers from type 2 diabetes and severe arthritis! She also eventually needs a left knee replacement.
Since November 1, 2016, life has been incredibly difficult for the entire family. Dawn's husband, John, passed away unexpectedly after a massive heart attack.
As medical bills continue to grow, her family needs help with health care, home and travel expenses. Insurance does not cover 100% of Dawn's medical bills and associated costs. Dawn travels to Indiana University Hospital (3 hours away) on a consistent basis as she recovers from surgery. Taylor and Olivia relocated from Phoenix and Dallas to Chicago and Scarlett visits from California as often as she can to help care for their mother's daily needs and be by her side.
