It's always been my dream to have a place to entertain my family and friends and to make strangers feel at home. Communitea is that dream come true. I'm selling gift cards to help gather additonal funds. The tables, chairs, linens, and hundreds of pieces of china have been gathered. The menu has been planned, my zoning appeal to change a former antique store to a restaurant has been granted, the lease is signed and the painting has begun!
The kitchen is being installed.
I am hoping you will be a part of building a Communitea by purchasing prepaid gift cards. These gift cards will include a 10% bonus and will be good for the purchase of all food and beverage items with the exclusion of special order cakes. The larger priced gift cards offer additional rewards and are perfect if you are planning on having a birthday party, shower, office party or other celebration at Communitea.
Communitea is a unique concept, bringing together a literal community of people. I have invited small business entrepreneurs to feature their items and help promote their businesses. Each small business provides me discount pricing in exchange for being promoted on Communitea's menu. Examples include a local seamstress exchanging making my curtains and table cloths for being highlighted on menu, and printed materials. I also have a wonderful established home baker.
Gift cards will be issued the last week of September and can be mailed or picked up at the tea room.
