Dawn has suffered two strokes in the last 5 years. She continues even now with threatening pre-stroke symptoms such as dizziness, blacking out, headaches and high blood pressure. Doctors are trying to figure out why with hypotheses from MS to cancer . These are heavy words and Dawn needs to feel surrounded by love and support to get through this difficult time .
Dawn has been a hard worker all her life. For the past 13 years she has been helping people to purchase homes by settling their mortgages. She started in New York, but after her first stroke she sought out a fresh start in Nevada where she continued to help new homeowners in this meaningful way. Unfortunately, her health crisis has turned into a financial crisis as her many hospitalizations have made maintaining a job impossible. While Dawn awaits for disability benefits to be approved, her medical bills are piling up and draining her both financially and emotionally.
Not only does the financial calamity threaten Dawn,s safety and security , but also that of her precious pets .
Dawn is a mommy to two beautiful dogs, Jameson (adopted) and Zoey, and 2 amazing cats , Ike and Sly (rescues). Dawn has committed to helping animals who were in need. Not only is Dawn dealing with overcoming her strokes and all the issues that they have brought with them, but she also has to face the fact that she may be unable to guarantee the safe and caring environment she has been providing for these darlings,;
her family .
