Adoption

Ian and I have had many struggles that have led us down this road of adoption. We have had 2 in vitro failures and then we decided to do foster care. We have been doing foster care for a little over a year now. We had 2 boys Gavin and Austin that were brothers were our first stab at foster care. Although, they were only here for a short 2.5 weeks they still touched our hearts. We then got Jackson he was 2 weeks old when we picked him up from the hospital withdrawing from many kinds of drugs. We have had him for a little over 13 months and have received the sad news that he is going home to his dad. This is going to be VERY tough for both Ian and I. I guess you can say we had our trial run at being parents and have LOVED every minute of it. This is very devastating to us. We are not asking for a lot every little bit helps.  Adoption is VERY expensive and on our own we cannot make our dream come true of holding our very own baby in our arms one day.
