Dawn Gallagher Rush Cancer Battle

As most of you already know, Dawn has been battling stomach cancer over the last 2 years. In the beginning, the doctors were hopeful that remission would occur after removal of a large portion of her stomach and a few rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. This past Spring, the doctors told her that there was nothing more that they were able to do.
This news, was of course devastating to all of us. But, Dawn being Dawn, has thankfully decided to live and to save her own life by going to Mexico to receive alternative cancer treatment...treatment that she is unable to get here in the U.S. The cost for this treatment is significant and we would like to raise funds to offset some of this cost.
The treatment that she will receive in Mexico is promising and will hopefully put Dawn in remission so that she can continue to live the life that she deserves. Dawn has two grandchildren, that she would like to see grow up. She would like to see her own children finish school and be launched on life's path.
Dawn is a fighter. She will be heading to Mexico mid-September for the treatment, which will be over a 28 day period. When she returns, we are also hosting a beef and beer fundraiser on November 3, 2018 at the Tylersport Firehouse. Stay tuned for information.
