Dawn Rapp’s Road to Recovery

By God’s grace

If you know my mother, Dawn Rapp you know that she is one of those people who’s presence and sweet smile can always brighten your day. Dawn is a giver and is always working hard to be the best wife, mother, grandma, sister, and friend she can be which are all roles she executes admirably. She loves her family more than anything and has always put everyone else’s needs above her own. She has also spent years offering her sweet welcoming smile to the customers of Kewpee so you may know her from there as well. On Monday evening August 27th Dawn was involved in a terrible car accident in which she sustained serious injuries. She fractured her left leg and dislocated her right ankle and left hip. They did emergency surgery the night of the accident to fix her leg and relocate her hip and ankle but throughout the night they moved out of place again. Wednesday morning on August 29th they had to go in and replace her hip and ankle. These injuries will keep her bed ridden for the next eight weeks and unable to walk for many many months. As a result she is out of work indefinitely. By the grace of God she is still here with us and we are so incredibly thankful for that blessing. This women is so incredibly loved by so many. Dawn is in good spirits and ready for the long road of recovery ahead. We are asking all friends and family to come together and help Dawn in any way possible in order to ease the stress and financial burden of being out of work. We appreciate it so very much! Anything helps and means more than you know. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
