Dawn Boggs - Breast Cancer

If you have ever met Dawn Boggs, you know she is one of a kind. She is vibrant, strong, and compassionate to say the least. She puts others before herself constantly, and never asks for anything in return. She never asks for help, so as her daughter I feel compelled to do so myself. This year has been a hard ride. My mom, Dawn, was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. She has had 4 surgeries this year alone, her most recent being a bilateral mastectomy with lymph node removal. She still has at least 2 more surgeries coming up, the next one is planned for the end of September. With surgery after surgery I'm sure you can see how the bills have stacked up. My mom had to take a lot of time off work for appointments, treatments, and surgeries. She lost a lot of wages during this time. After the mastectomy she was supposed to take AT LEAST 6 weeks off of work, yet she returned after about 2 1/2. She got out of bed everyday to go to work, even though she was in agony, because the bills do not slow down when life does and she felt obligated to put my siblings and I before her self and her health. That is why I am asking for donations now. I have seen the stress of life eat away at my mother. She worries about bills and debt every single day, when all I wish is that she was focussing on herself and her health. I have seen my mom care for others for as long as I can remember, so if you can remember a time she helped you, or not, please try to donate something. Anything and everything helps.
