Hi everyone I'm fundraising for Davy Dinkens. Davy Dinkens was displaced along with us in a fire in February he is on disability so coming up with a deposit and first months rent is nearly impossible. We aren't able to do anything at the property til the house is demolished and there are still 150 houses in front of ours from the tornados in bowling Green, ky. We aren't able to put up a temporary pole or maybe a moble home but we can put a camper up there for him. Any donations will help, we would be so grateful if you could spare some money to help get him into some sort of roof over his head. This money will go to help him get into a place to rent or get a camper to put on back lot until we can get some sort of housing built back up there. I'm fundraising for him cause he is my father in law he got my child out first and my fiance then came searching for me. The smoke hadn't reached the upstairs yet where I was so I had no clue it was on fire. He put his life on the line to make sure I made it out. I'm not sure I would be alive without him today. We lost everything, this community has helped me out so much, but Davy hasn't received donations. So he is struggling and sleeping in car some nights. My landlord won't allow him to stay here but maybe two nights. He could move in an apartment here with us if he had enough for a deposit and first months rent. But a camper, is another option.
