<div>Hi! I have been in the hospital since March 11th, receiving aggressive treatment for B-ALL: acute lymphoblastic leukemia. To put it lightly it is kicking my ass. I was broke before my diagnosis, and now my debt feels unmanageable. I have another 2 to 3 weeks of hospital treatment before I get to go home, at which point I will start doing chemo as an outpatient twice a week. Then, I will need a bone marrow transplant in order to be cured. My doctor is on the hunt for a donor already, and MAY have found one. The aftercare for the transplant will be pretty intense and I will have to go back to the hospital almost every day at first, and slowly as I recover the appointments will go from daily to weekly to monthly etc. There are some grants available I am applying for to help with these costs but they are limited.

<div><strong>Funds raised will go towards:</strong>

<div><strong>1) Transport to BIDMC for outpatient chemo until I'm medically eligible and matched with a donor for a bone marrow transplant</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>2) Potential time off work for the transplant recovery (1-2 months)</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>3) Transport to BIDMC for transplant follow-up care </strong>
</div>
<div><strong>4) Food!!! Turns out you need it to survive.</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>5) cancer related things like a shower chair, a walking cane, and a new bedframe as I can no longer climb my loft.</strong>
</div>
<div>I am going to be in the hospital for a few more weeks but I really want to get out ahead on finances. This has been a wild experience getting diagnosed with leukemia but here I am. I love you and thank you for reading. &lt;3
