Fundraiser for David Zayas

This past summer, as a part of Beyond Walls' Mural Festival, Puerto Rican artist David Zayas created "The Protector," a stunning mural on Spring Street. For about two weeks, David called Lynn home. He opened his heart to Lynn and its residents, connecting with passersby as he painted.
The hurricane that devastated Puerto Rico, has had a huge impact on David and his ability to earn money for his family. Projects and work David had previously secured have been cancelled due to the heartwrenching conditions in Puerto Rico.
David just got word that he was selected to be part of Concreto, an international urban art festival in Brazil. Attending the festival represents a milestone in his career.
Unfortunately, because all of David's recent projects have been cancelled, he is not able to pay for a plane ticket to the festival. David deserves to be there and, as a member of the Beyond Walls' family, we want to see his career blossom. We are asking you to consider making a donation today to help pay for David's airline ticket to Brazil. His flight needs to be booked by October 24th so please don't delay!
David and his work here in Lynn are now an important part of Lynn's culture. We want to show David the same love and kindness he has given to us. Please donate what you can.
