If you know my seriously incredible husband, David, you have most likely heard of his deep passion for health and fitness. Specifically CROSSFIT.
But for those of you who may only know a little, allow me to fill you in on a bit of David’s heart.
1.5 years ago, David felt God tell him that it would be a year to set habits that would “last a lifetime.” David has always been an athlete, but he hadn’t really found that ONE place to sink his teeth into. Enter, CROSSFIT. All of a sudden, he was a different man. He started cutting sugar, processed foods, wheat, etc and working out 3-4 times a week. He proceeded to lose 20 pounds.
Needless to say, I was impressed. And challenged.
David has that affect on people. He knows how to set standards, when to challenge, and when to call higher.
And now, he is calling HIMSELF even higher. In order to grow in his passion, David desires to become CROSSFIT certified.
This year is very important for us. HUGE dreamers, we plan to accomplish a lot in our lifetime. And I want to champion my husband’s dreams. I believe in his leadership. He is a natural-born teacher, coach, and counselor. I see becoming a certified CROSSFIT instructor as a platform to launch him into his destiny.
That being said, we are aiming to raise the money it would cost to and offer you the chance to invest in David’s dream. We are raising $1500 on Gofundme.com ($1000 for the certification and $500 for travel expenses).
I hope to raise enough money by the end of March as there is a certification at Seattle in mid-April.
