Rent is going up just as David begins a new, last-hope clinical trial. Cancer that spread from his kidneys to his bones has left him in constant pain and Julie had to quit work to care for him. They used to earn $75,000 a year. Now they scrape by on his disability. The stress of not knowing where the added rent will come from, and the possibility of eviction, make a tough fight so much tougher. Eric Wilkinson of KING TV tells their story:

David and Julie are much-loved members of our extended family. If you could meet them, you'd love them, too, for their warmth and grit and optimism.
