My name is Nicole Page and I'm the Co-founder and Director for Potter House Recovery in Florence, SC. I am raising funds for one of our residents, David Hatcher.
David entered our 90-day treatment program and on his 89th day with us, he had to go to the hospital for severe abdominal pain. He ended up having a hernia and had to have surgery. Two days later he had to have a part of his colon removed. A biopsy was done on the part of the colon that was removed and it was found to be cancerous.
David is now out of the hospital. He completed our 90-day program is currently living in our transitional living. Unfortunately, he is out of work for a minimum of 4 months and desperately needs help with living expenses (food and rent).
David has gone through a lot in the last few weeks but continues to stay positive and more importantly SOBER! He has experienced a ton of emotions through it all and is just so grateful to be alive!
I ask that you please consider donating to this cause to help David get through the next several months. Your donation, whether big or small, will allow him to recover without the additional burden of wondering where his next meal is coming from or how he is going to pay his rent.
We at Potter House Recovery are so proud of David for the great strides he has made in his sobriety and how he has handled his current situation. He is such an amazing human being and we hope that you can find it in your heart to help him out!
