David's promise to Tammy

January 20, 2018 started out like any other day, my uncle David was acting his usual self with the pretense of an ornery attitude, and in good spirits. He and my aunt Tammy had finally just moved into a home after dealing with several rough years of struggling to get back on their feet. While working around their new home tragedy struck, his heart gave out and we lost him. Everyone did everything they could to keep him with us, David fought hard but ultimately lost the battle. He was a vivacious, witty, loving, kind man who fiercely loved his family and being a former Marine, he worked hard without complaint regardless of any pain he felt or how tired he was. We all miss him terribly. When David married my aunt, he promised to love and care for her for the remainder of his days, and he did, all the way to the very end. Now we are seeking to continue keeping his promise to love and support my aunt during this time. She is unable to work and in poor health, we are doing the best we can to help her become more stable, but are in desperate need of funds to fill the gap until we can get her there.
