David's Cancer Medical Costs

Donation protected
Good day,

Exactly one year ago, I was diagnosed with testicular cancer.

In December of 2016, I underwent an orchiectomy. Though the surgery was successfully, my doctors found I still had cancer. Starting on December 26th, I started going through invasive EP/PE Chemotherapy (Etoposide and Cisplatin).

I had to stop working. Within the week of beginning chemo, my hair began to thin and began to fall out. I had to stay at the hospital for two weeks, being pricked and prodded by needles every single day.

All I wanted in the new year was to feel like myself again.

With the help of  my doctors and nurses, I ended my chemo regiment in March, a week before my 23rd birthday.

I was hoping for good news after completing my chemo. In mid-April, I had a second surgery: a Retroperitoneal lymph node dissection (RPLND). I still have an 8 inch scar on my abdomen.

I went back to work in June. After another CT scan and more blood work, my doctor said I'm in the clear for now.

As a recently graduated college student, this diagnosis was the last thing I was expecting. This go-fund me is to help pay for my hospital and medical bills associated with my cancer diagnosis. Any amount is appreciated.  Thank you for taking the time to read this and for sharing my story.
