Center On Deafness - New carpet for our gymnasium!

Tax deductible
The Center On Deafness is looking to raise funds to purchase new carpet for our indoor gymnasium.

The current carpet is more than 20 years old and starting to show it's wear and tear.  This area is used daily by both our adult and child program clients for recreational activities, sports, and larger therapy groups.

It is often the clients' favorite place to be in the building.  Here they can get together for activities, play sports, watch a performance, or just spend time together.  Help us bring this area of the building back to life!

The Center on Deafness, a not for profit Illinois Corporation, began serving the deaf and hard of hearing community nearly forty years ago and has only one mission, to serve both children and adults who have hearing impairments with additional conditions such as mental illness or developmental disabilities.  The Center On Deafness includes a school program (Centerview School), an adult program (Centerpoint Adult Program) and a residential program for both children and adults.

The Center on Deafness is approved by the Illinois State Board of Education and certified by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO), the Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS), the Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS), and is an Illinois Licensed Medicare Provider.
