This past weekend, my dad unexpectedly passed away from a heart attack.
My dad turned 58 on August 31st and I wasn’t expecting to have to say goodbye so soon. As next of kin, I have to take on the responsibilities of providing my dad with a proper funeral and all other aspects/expenses and unfortunately he did not have any life insurance or a will set up or any plans made. For the past 20 years my dad lived in Cincinnati, Ohio but we will have his ashes here in Iowa City where we are planning a Memorial/Burial.
I’m very thankful and lucky to have my mom and Aunt Deb here to help me with everything. I never thought I would need to set one of these up, and especially for this reason at 23 years old, but right now any amount will help and is greatly appreciated.
