David Ruehmer's Teen Suicide Prevention Legacy

Tax deductible
David Ruehmer was the kindest most caring guy you could ever wish to meet. His smile lit up a room. When David was in high school he struggled with depression & his mental heath and by the grace of God survived a suicide attempt. His mental health went untreated and back then schools didn't offer the kind of mental health supports that exist today. Depression and Mental Health Awareness in teens is a growing concern and ongoing need and more support than ever is necessary. The World Heath Organization stated in September 2019, the global suicide crisis calls for widespread action.

On December 4, 2021 David took his own life at the age of 50. If you wish to honor David in some way please consider donating to Milford Schools Foundation-Mental Health Intervention team who support high school student's mental health when in crisis and their ongoing mental health wellness.
