We are David and Meredith and after spending the last few years on the painful roller coaster of infertility, we have decided to grow our family through adoption.
We are very excited to be taking this step. For those of you who know me, I have dreamed of being a mom my entire life. I was always the first to volunteer to nanny or babysit and I had my children named before I finished the third grade so this go fund me is the first step towards making our dreams come true.
We have started the process of working with an adoption agency and are on our way to getting licensed. What many people don't realize is that adopting a baby costs between $20,000 and $40,000. We are saving every penny we have, but that is a tall mountain to climb for two teachers so we are swallowing our pride (gulp) and reaching out to you, our friends and family members to help us bring home our baby.
Our goal is to raise at least $15,000 towards our adoption through this go fund me page and other fundraisers.
