David Johnson’s 80th Birthday Spitfire Dream

Grandad (Dave) served in the RAF for 25 years as a chief aircraft technician on Hercules, and is a very proud veteran. He has never had the chance to take flight in a WWII Spitfire and has dreamed of flying in one some day. In June, it will be his 80th birthday and we would love to do something special for him and fulfil his dream of flying in a Spitfire before he is is unable to do it. If you could donate something towards this special fund, we as a family would really appreciate it. Any money made above the required amount will be donated to Help for Heroes and if we don’t reach our target, we will still organise something different, but as special as possible for his 80th to thank him for his service and being an amazing dad, grandad, husband and great grandad.
