David is going to Japan!

Hello! David has the awesome opportunity to go to Japan for 2 weeks in the summer of 2023. The trip is being headed by one of the Japanese teachers at his school, and is through a sister school program. So he will be paired with a family that has a child around the same age, go to classes with them, and live with them for most of the trip. He will also be doing some sightseeing with his school group and teachers.

With this great experience, also comes a big price tag. The school does not do major fundraisers for this trip, so the cost largely falls on the families.

The cost of the trip itself is 4,100$ plus spending money. All funds raised here will go specifically to the trip costs and any extra raised will be part of his spending money.

Any help is appreciated so that David can be a part of this incredible experience!!

A massive Thank you to everyone who has donated!! You have all been a huge help.  His final payment goes out next week, then it’s shipping for clothes and waiting.  

I’ll be keeping this fundraiser open until his trip since we still need to make sure he’s got all he needs as far as clothes, spending money, etc.
