As some of you may know, my dad passed away on (estimated) June 22nd, and we were unaware until 10 days later. I wasn't able to get into his home or get ahold of any paperwork for several weeks (still having trouble finding everything), so my options for assistance with cremation, etc., had already passed because of how long it took. I've been applying for loans and assistance with banks, with Hennepin County (where his body is currently located) and have had zero luck, so... I decided to swallow my pride and reach out to family and friends for help.

Overall, my dad was a good man. He loved his family, his friends, joking around, everything involving nature, listening/making music, and loved just talking to people in general. He had been suffering for several years with different illnesses, but anytime I or his grandkids talked to him, you could hear the happiness in his voice, a voice that I really miss hearing. I think the thing that hurts the most is that my children won't have the opportunity to get to know their goofy grandpa more as they grow up.

I truly hate asking for help, but if anyone can, even just $5 or thoughts & prayers towards putting his body to rest would be so appreciated.
