Dear Friends and Family,
As some of you already know David had back surgery on February 16th, followed by Staph infection (MSSA) and blood infection. Due to post-surgical complications David was kept in the hospital and undergone two more surgical procedures. David stayed 40 days in the hospital. During this period David received continuestly antibiotics treatment, physical therapy, pain management therapy, and other treatments . On April 6th David was discharged from the hospital and admited in Kessler Rehabilitation Center where he stayed until April 20th. He went home but all the treatments are still in place at home, (antibiotics treatment, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and nursing visitations.)
This was part of what we call "Phase 1". David still have a way to go. The forth surgical procedure is to be scheduled upon reviewing of MRI test and blood culture results.
David is a Realtor at Weichert Real Estate Company. David’s salary is based on commission. Since he won’t be able to work for a long period of time we won’t have his income. This is already presenting a huge financial burden on our family. I am the only one now responsible to pay for all the bills plus medical expenses. We have our two daughters that are still young 12 and 9 years old. We are in financial hardship. I won’t come to you if we were not really strangling to get ahead. Please I will be forever thankful to you for any contribution you can give.
