David Curci Recovery Fund

While scalloping with a group of buddies near Crystal River, David Curci was struck by a boat and received severe lacerations, tendon damage, and broken bones to his feet and ankles. The incident is under investigation but the important thing is that Curci is expected to make a good, but slow recovery. As with these situations there will be a plethora of costs from medical bills, legal fees, rehabilitation, and missed work. Curci is an active member within the Gulf Coast dive community who volunteers his personal times to assist with clubs, tournaments, and marine charity events. Curci is also an Army veteran with tours to Iraq and Afghanistan with the Special Operations and the type of straight shooter who won't ask for help or a handout.

As his friends, we are organizing this campaign on his behalf to alleviate the monetary burden that Curci and his wife will suffer while dealing with his recovery. On behalf of a guy that goes above and beyond for others and the dive community as a whole, we thank you all for any support you can offer. Lastly, stay safe out there on the water, it may very well be someone else's ignorance that changes your life.
